Q:: Explain how having your site Lankina.ru helps your international modeling career.

In this HIFI world it is very convinient to have an online portfolio and stats that is reachable from any part of the world in any time. Plus it is convinient reagrding safety as there is no personal e-mail listed but the form that requires to put in a lot of information in order to get the access for pictures and my personal e-mail.

Q:: Describe the perfect type of website for a model? What works best?

Well i still think it is very much depends on a personal taste and what kind of modelling you do. I personally think , pictures should speak for themselves so the clearer and simplier the design the better. Also my website lankina.ru is made for professional use. After a while i decided to separate those two options.Now there is website for photographers and people who would like to hire me in future wich is www.marialankina.com or www.lankina.ru and the other one for fans and admirers lol www.cyberiankitten.com wich provides more personal info much more photos, webcam etc. Basically I think a modeling site should have stats, portfolio pictures, calendar of upcoming shootings and traveling plans, References ( from photgraphers and people worked with ) and it should be translated on languages that people speak in the countries model would like to work with.

Q:: Is it a lot of trouble getting a visa to work on projects in the United States?

Yes very much so , you cant even imagine, thats alot of hassle. I am working on it constantly...

Q:: Has getgigs.com helped you with finding new international opportunities?

Yep. Too early to speak , but one American band chosed me to be on the cover with them and poster of their new CD album. Hope everything will workout as we plan.

Q:: How long have you been in association with cyberiankitten.com?

The idea first popped up in november 2000.

Q:: Did you come up with the name, or were you approached by a design agency?

I cant rememeber right now.I think it was worked out through a discussion with webmaster .

Q:: Do you maintain and design the site or do you work with a design and development team?

The first choice was to pay to a webmaster (couple people working together) but at the end this person hasn't made even 50% of what eh was paid for so finally i had to finish all by myself and now i am my own webmaster as well. (Had to learn such things as settign up payment features,webcam etc)

Q:: How many people work on the site?

Right now me and some coupel friends , each of them helping the way they can .

Q:: How much do you charge for a membership?

Right now it is 19.95$ US for a month , or 2.95$US for trial for 3 days. Since september there is a promotional action where monthly membership will cost 9.99$. Plus there will be an competition for those who sighn up. The winner will win a free webcam chat with me.

Q:: How many members do you have on the site?

Right now about 50 , but as i mentioned above i was preparing for a main lounch in september .

Q:: Are you under contract with this site, or can you have additional members sites with other development teams?

I am the owner of my website so I am able to work with other development teams. I have several grand progects in mind I know will work out well.

Q:: How do you prefer to be compensated for a members site?

Payment by credit card. Plus I will add the ability to pay by paypal soon. Thinking if i should add payment by cheques.
