Q::
Would like to hear more about your ambitions while in NYC.
Have you found an agent/agency?
I AM
MY OWN AGENT!(ha)!! When I got to New York last September
I sent my headshot to every Agent. I received several replies,
all of them said that they wanted me to take a year and
"get use to the city as a New Yorker." So that's what I've
been doing. I've gotten all of my auditions by just being
resourceful; reading the papers, meeting people( those contacts
are extremely important), and paying attention. Having an
agent does not guarantee you auditions OR work. I believe
what the Agents really wanted to see is me in "action,"
meaning in a production of some sort. My goal (for the past
year) has been to land a role(on my own) and then invite
those agents to the performance so they can actually "see"
what I can "do." I've been auditioning, but haven't landed
that role yet. However I'm not discouraged because with
time,patience, and perseverance great things always follow!!!

| Q::
Are you focusing on theatre or film? ? |
| I'm
focusing on getting a job as an ACTOR!(ha!-whew!-seriously!!!)
If I had to choose,I would really like to do theatre. Their
is just something so "real" and "exciting" about the entire
theatre experience. But, by no means am I ruling-out film.
If something comes my way and I'm inspired by it, then that's
enough for me. |

Q::
Why did you choose NYC?
Because
I wanted to be close to different varieties of theatre and
because I like what New York has to offer me as an actor.
Shows, classes, workshops, seminars, they even have free
stuff; for those who are on tight budgets(referring to myself!!ha!!)
New York is such a lively City for theatre- it's an actors
city- ACTORS ARE EVERYWHERE- EVERYONE'S AN ACTOR!!! But
mostly, New York keeps me moving; I've learned so much about
the business and myself. t yourself,treat people like people
treat you.
