Description: We are a private, non-profit organization
that needs 3 upbeat and dancey bands for Sproutstock,
its annual music and art festival hold from Friday August
5 to Sunday August 7 in Catskill Mountains.
The organization Sprout provides programs for people with
developmental disabilities. The audience will be made
by more than 300 persons.
Each band will do one performance: Saturday
afternoon, Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon.
The meal and the accomodation will be provided if necessary.
It's a compensated job.
The bands must be reliable and competent.

allow us to give you a few pointers. First, appearance is
very important to us. We see countless demos and the best
advice we can offer is to make your band stand out. How
your package looks reflects directly on how your band presents
itself. Next, the fewer songs you send the better. Pick
your two or three best songs and send them to us. If we
like what we hear, we will contact you and ask you to send
more. Third, don’t call us, we’ll call you. As we mentioned
before- we get a lot of demos- but rest assured, yours will
be heard. We don’t however enjoy the follow up emails that
bands send to us asking us what we think. If we like your
band, we will let you know- we promise. That’s really it.
